December 5th, 2008 -‘Anne Frank: A History for Today’ in partnership with The Mitchell Library
"The Mitchell Library hosted the ‘Anne Frank: A History for Today’ exhibition from 5th December 2008 – 11th January 2009.
The issues it highlights are very relevant to our world today and the exhibition and related workshops provide an excellent vehicle to prompt discussion among young people.
This was an extremely successful partnership with demand from schools to attend, simply overwhelming."
Feedback and comments we recieved:
“ I wish to thank those responsible for this truly memorable and moving exhibition”
“Very well put together exhibition…well done! Thank you for hosting this exhibition”
“Pitched at just the right level for adults and children”
“Wonderful exhibition – thoroughly enjoyed by the children (pupils) who were moved to learn of man’s inhumanity and will be better citizens as a result”
“Superb guided tour – still touching and profoundly sad”
“A very moving exhibition, very relevant today. Pupils also found it a worthwhile experience, thank you. What a wonderful tribute to Anne Frank”
